Melinda Headshot 2021

Hi! I’m Melinda.

I am a 25-year-old woman from NJ who grew up as the first-born daughter of Chinese immigrants. Currently based in Seattle, WA, I have held 3 roles in Product Marketing at Microsoft in the Microsoft 365, Data & AI, and Digital Store teams. Outside of my day job, I pursue community-oriented projects related to my core passion: uplifting women and non-binary folks in their health and economic empowerment (Womanly, Powerful Voices, API Chaya, WAFFA, Let’s Sync).

During my time at the University of Pennsylvania, The Wharton School, I studied Business Analytics and Entrepreneurship, actively pursuing my interests in social impact, entrepreneurship, and technology. My internships at startups and startup-adjacent orgs (Elix Healing, Twentyeight Health, Endeavor), work with non-profits (Percentage Project, CIFWI), and coursework helped me discover how my capabilities and characteristics could be applied to the challenges I wanted to tackle.

After my internship at Microsoft, I decided to return full-time to build my product marketing skillset, create business impact at scale, and drive Diversity & Inclusion initiatives. You can learn more about my time at Microsoft and career journey so far on my LinkedIn.

I'm always learning about entrepreneurs’ journeys, consuming content on social issues (especially at the intersection of technology + gender + health), and discovering femtech companies. If you think we have something in common, don’t hesitate to reach out! I’d love to chat.

Right now, I'm thinking about...
